We created this customized birdhouse for the Mass. Audubon Society's Boston Nature Center fundraiser. Artists were requested to paint or modify a simple birdhouse for a silent auction at their annual 'Spring Swing'. We created a 'La Cage' style nightclub! Complete with fire escape, torn posters, neon 'peep shows' signs and 'no perching' warnings!
The client described the reception to our entry: 'I have to say the gentleman who ended up with your birdhouse sat strategically under the house all night and made a higher bid any time anyone tried to outbid him!'
